Head of Marketing

At 3 Sided Cube, our focus is using Tech for Good to build amazing products that change lives. We’ve worked on some seriously great projects in the humanitarian and environmental sectors, working with clients such as The American Red Cross, UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) and the World Resources Institute, to name a few! 

We’re now looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our marketing department and lovely marketing team of three, to continue growing our brand awareness through various activities, both digital and IRL. All with the aim of generating new opportunities for Cube to be the trusted technology partner for world-changing organisations. 

Location: Bournemouth, Hybrid (minimum of 1 day a week in the office)

Hours: Full time but also open to a discussion around 4 days per week, prorated

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per year, depending on experience. 

• Turning our business objectives into an effective marketing strategy to help the business achieve its goals in both the UK and US
• Managing larger campaigns including reports, IRL events and online campaigns
• Supporting the Client Success team to help generate opportunities and convert more prospects by utilise a variety of tactics for lead generation and providing collateral and content where needed
• Being a brand guardian by making sure the 3 Sided Cube brand is represented accurately and consistently across all platforms and channels and that our unique style and tone of voice is maintained!
• Being responsible for our website, ensuring content is optimised for SEO
• Building our presence across our social channels
• Owning and managing digital campaigns
• Being a representative for Cube at events and speaking opportunities, being able to talk about who we are and what we do confidently
• Analysing and reporting on KPI’s at a department and board level
• Leading, managing and motivating the Marketing Team and acting as a point of escalation where needed

• Previous experience in a similar role – you’ve built and owned successful marketing strategies, handled large budgets, launched campaigns in the digital space as well as IRL and built relationships with prospective clients (some experience in working with not for profit and/or government would be great!)
• You’ve got tonnes of experience in digital marketing – we’re talking website, SEO, social channels, digital campaigns
• You can confidently use a CRM system (we use Hubspot!)
• You know how to get the best from social channels
• You’re confidently able to contribute to new business proposals
• You have a genuine interest in all things Marketing and Tech, and want to help make a real difference to people’s lives
• With around 60% of our clients based in the US, experience in marketing to the US would be a huge bonus! 
• You have outstanding communication skills both with internal teams and being able to effectively collaborate, as well as externally with things like networking and building relationships
• You’ve managed a team before, acting as a mentor and helping them grow and develop
• You’re super confident with KPI’s – tracking them and reporting them at a Board level  
• If you’ve worked in an agency environment before that would also be brilliant!

• Salary – £50,000-£60,000 per year, dependant on experience
