For the first day of CUBEMAS a few fairly tired CUBES headed out to volunteer with GoodGym. Running 3km (and back!) to spend a few hours at a CCP centre painting, tidying, and setting up Christmas decorations for vulnerable young members of our community.
MEET OTHERS. GET FIT. DO GOOD.
We love this.
That’s why for the first day of CUBEMAS we teamed up with GoodGym to run 3.5km (and back) to a centre for vulnerable children and help them out where we could (turns out we’re pretty good painters if we do say so ourselves).
“Every week in Bournemouth we work out by helping local community projects, and run back, all within 90 minutes”
"I don't think I'm going to make it"
A group of very tired CUBE runners arrived at the CCP (Caring for Communities and People) ready to do good. We tasked ourselves with a deep cleanse of the kitchen, repainting the communal area, cleaning out the garage and setting up Christmas decorations.
Improving the lives of vulnerable members of our community, now that’s a cause we can get behind. Giving a home to children and teenagers who don’t have one is only one of the things that CCP are doing. And CUBE couldn’t be happier to help.
"Our priority is to help vulnerable people who have serious and immediate needs, equipping them to meet the demands of an ever-evolving society"
Thanks for having us GoodGym, you were amazing! (And we really enjoyed your post) keep doing good and helping organisations like CCP who have such an incredible impact on our community.
